Constance Ruff has been named Ambassador of the Year
for 2006-2007 by the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce. The Chamber Ambassadors are
business volunteers who support Chamber membership retention by making new
member visits and telephone service calls. They also attend Chamber ribbon
cuttings and grand openings.
Ruff, a member of the CTC Technologies sales staff, joined the Chamber in 1989. She has served on the Ambassadors steering committee and has received three career awards. Over the past year and a half, she has been Chamber Ambassador of the Month five times. Besides her Chamber volunteer activities, she is actively involved in the education of her six-year-old son Travis and plays on the Stuart Heights Baptist Church softball team.
"Volunteering for the Chamber over the years has helped me develop public speaking skills and many business relationships with people whom I may have never met otherwise," Ruff says.
