Voice & Data Cabling
CTC specializes in installing structured cabling for both data and voice. We will work with you to successfully install a complete, easy-to-manage cable infrastructure. To accomplish this, all cabling must be run in a neat and orderly manner, this will ensure easy-to-maintain cabling for future diagnostics, strictly following TIA/568 standards.
Fiber Optics
 CTC has extensive experience in single and multi-mode fiber optic systems, mostly used as a backbone in large networks or where large distances need to be covered, where regular copper would not be able to carry the signal over the distance.
- Horizontal cabling installation consists of the cable from your equipment room to each designated outlet or work area. Unshielded twisted pair cable is media of choice for most horizontal installations. CTC typically installs Category 5 Enhanced, or Category 3 cable depending on our customer's requirements. We use high quality components that typically consist of cable, patch panels, jacks, faceplates, and patch cords.
- Backbone cabling typically consists of the cabling between equipment closets or rooms. Fiber optic cable is media of choice for most backbone installations. Fiber has an enormous bandwidth and is immune from problems such as electromagnetic interference. We also install 25,50, and 100 pair copper cables to connect your telephone equipment rooms together.
