Once
you have registered a domain name or two, you will most likely want to
sign in to your domain name manager to track purchase dates, renewals
and other information specific to your domain names.
Once
you have owned your domain name for a year, or until your first
registration term expires, you will receive an email notification from
Domain People letting you know that your domain name is about to
expire. If you receive notifications via US Postal Service or by other
means and you are not sure this is specifically from Domain People,
please contact us first, before filling out any forms and sending in
payment. The industry has unfortunate marketing tricks that send out
transfer requests that look like bills but in fact are simply tricky
methods to obtain your business and change the registrar your domain
name is currently with. This could disrupt your internet services
severely.
If you need to simply renew a domain name registered through our services, visit our domain renewal form below.
We encourage you to keep your domains registered with Chattanooga
Online for as long as you are one of our customers but if you decide
you want to move your domain some place else we completely understand.
