We recommend 2CheckOut for new internet companies or those companies with less than $5,000 a month in credit card revenue. For those companies that perform greater than $5,000 per month in credit card revenue consider utilizing an Internet Merchant Account with their local bank along with Authorize.net payment gateway solutions.

If you already have a merchant account with your local bank and would like to be approved for an Authorize.net Gateway account, contact Authorize.Net directly. They will help you choose the best solution for your business needs.

Contact Authorize.Net by calling (866) 437-0476 (Monday - Friday, 6 AM - 5 PM Pacific time).

Authorize.Net will provide you with a Login ID and a Transaction Key; Chattanooga Online will use these to configure your shopping cart to access the Authorize.Net payment gateway. 

If you are not sure your monthly credit card revenues are going to exceed $5,000 we highly recommend starting with a 2CheckOut payment solution.  This solution is unique in that you are not required to submit to a credit check, you do not need a business checking account and you do not need a seperate merchant account from your gateway account. With a 2CheckOut account you will have one easy to use interface with slightly higher per transaction fees which actually offsets the annual and monthly fees of a normal merchant account with Authorize.net hence the break even point of $5,000 per month in credit card revenue.
